Gina is having (or probably already had) a laproscopic surgery today to see if the little tumors have been effected by the chemo. This will determine whether she starts another 3 sessions of chemo, or will have the major debulking surgery in the next month. And the update:
The surgery was deemed sucessful. They have scheduled the major debulking surgery for 11/8. My parents are coming home on Friday, and then my mom will be heading out a few days before the surgery to be with her, and will stay for a couple of weeks afterwards.
The dissapointing part is she can't come out for Christmas now, it'll be too close to the surgery :( Makes me kinda sad they couldn't get the surgery scheduled sooner. Oh well.
