Chocolate Martinis

Ingredients:
6 oz. Vanilla vodka
4 oz. Irish crème liqueur
4 oz. Crème de caçao
4 oz. Chocolate Milk
Chocolate syrup
Ice

(optional) Chocolate shavings
(optional) Whipped cream

Chill martini glasses in your freezer
"Swirl" chocolate syrup around inside of martini glass.

Mix vanilla vodka, Irish crème liqueur, crème de caçao, and milk in a shaker with ice. Strain into martini glass and serve.

Rim glass with cocoa powder for even more chocolate flavor. You can top the Chocolate martini with whipped cream and more chocolate syrup, or chocolate shavings.

Things to note. I couldn't fit all of this into a shaker. So I halved it. Didn't swirl my glass or use cocoa powder. Might have turned out better if I did. I did use twice as much chocolate milk when I made it. It was just too Irish cream tasting. I wasn't a huge fan, but it was a nice change. Maybe next time I'll skip the chocolate milk and blend it with chocolate ice cream.. That'd be tasty :-)

For now, I'll still to my green apple and pear mixes shaken with vodka....

I have never been a martini person... but I am very much a chocolate person... maybe I should give this a try!

I don't think the chocolate shavings or whipped cream should be optional. Mandatory, baby! :)
