The weekend

It was pretty laid back 'round these parts.

Friday I took the registry test and I *think* I did okay. There were some questions that totally threw me, and I'm hoping those were the pilot questions (200 regular questions with 20 pilot questions interspersed and not identified). I know I missed a couple that I had to guess on. Overall you need at 76 score to pass. I'm hoping that because I don't feel like shit about it, I got atleast that... No need to worry about it though, I'll find out in less than 4 weeks if I passed or not. If not, I'll just take it again...

Saturday the kids and I went to an Easter egg hunt and played at a park--it was beautiful outside. There weren't very many kids, so the kids found WAY too many eggs...oh well, they had fun. Took Jake to get a haircut, then they went with Papa to get the oil changed. While they were doing that I went to the scrapbooking store, to Old Navy to do some returns, and to Sears to buy a cheap leaf blower for my dad. Super exciting stuff here people. Later we have KFC (ugh) for dinner with our friend Orrin. I was going to go out with a friend, but when I stopped by home to let the dog out, I discovered she had gotten in to the garbage. So I just stayed home.

Now we're waiting for Tom to get home from fishing, the kids are having quiet time and I'm pretending to clean. So exciting.

Things are still going well with the house, we're still on schedule to get the keys on April 20th. The inspection will be done this week.

Gina might be coming out sooner as she really hasn't been doing well. We don't know if it's depression, or if she really is fading this quickly. Not fun to think about either way. Random things, mainly songs, make me start crying unexpectedly, but usually when I'm alone.

I work evenings this week so I won't be seeing my kiddos or Tom very much. Makes me kinda sad, but it's only for 5 days.

I am dealing with a loved one that has an illness that has no cure. That depression can do strange things to them. I thought it was the end about a year ago, then we got his son out here and he snapped out of it. Hopefully, when your sister gets there you will find she does better with family around. Best wishes and again, my thoughts are with you.
