To add to below

Gina got here on Wednesday night. I have no idea how she managed the flight over. She's about 1/2 the size of before, and laid in bed crying almost all morning. She won't eat much of anything (though we stocked my parents house with her favorites), and is just in so much pain.

It's just shocking.

I think about the families I see at the hospital who are all gathered, waiting for their loved ones to pass. And we're going to have to do that. And I can't imagine it.

It's hard to balance all the good that has been happening (I passed my ARRT test with a 91 out of 99!!!) with the bad.

Thanks for all the thoughts and hugs. It really truly helps to know that there are people out there thinking about us.

Oh, Mary. My heart aches for you. Reading your post brought back a flood of memories from when my mom was in pretty much the same condition. I don't have the words to express to you how sorry I am that you and your family are going through this.

If you need someone to talk to, or someone to just listen, I'm here. Don't hesitate.

(Congratulations on passing your test, BTW. What a fantastic score!)

I'm so sorry you have to go through this, and for the pain your sister is feeling. Be strong, for her. But don't forget to take care of YOU too. ((HUG))

Congrats on passing the test. :)

Congrats on passing the test!

That must be so hard to go through. Just make sure you share your thoughts about it with each other. Be there for each other. It is really all you can do. God bless you all!

My heart is just aching for you. Please know I am praying for you and your family. Cancer is evil. Evil. Hug your sister as tight as you can. Help her. I didn't understand how much I was NOT helping my Dad until he asked for my permission to let go. Crap, I'm crying now thinking of you. Hug your sister for me too.

I know you need to be strong for her, but not for us. Feel free to let go and scream or cry or just be still. We're here. I wish it could be more. Feel free to pour your heart out. I'm thinking about you every day. ((Mary))

Mary, you, Gina and her DD are in my thoughts and prayers. Heck, your whole family is in my prayers. Again, if you need anything, anything from my colleagues, etc., please let me know. {{{Mary and family}}}

You kicked ass on your exam. Congrats!

I am so sorry you are going through all of this. Years ago we lost a dear friend I went to school with. His widow is my best friend. They had a small son at the time. It was so hard to go through

Later that year we lost my sister in law to cancer.

Why can we put a man on the moon, clone animals, but we can't cure cancer. I just don't get it.

My thoughts are with you. Feel free to vent we are all here for you.
