Gina's Surgery

My sister Gina is having her surgery tomorrow. Well technically in about 5 hours (noon London time). So if you can say a little prayer for her, or think some happy thoughts, that would be fantastic.

I'll update when I hear more.

update:
Well I talked to my dad a bit ago. The surgery took longer than expected, but the surgeon said something about there being more tumor, or more indepth tumor than he expected.
They had to remove part of her colon, but they resectioned it. They called in a specialist for that part. They expect her to be in the hospital til the 17th atleast, unless she is doing much better than they expect. They'll meet with the surgeon again then.
So I'd say it's pretty good news, they were able to remove all of the visible tumor, and she doesn't have ascites which would have screwed things up.
Thanks for all the prayers and happy thoughts!!
My parents were going back to Gina's house in Salisbury, and were going to email, so if I get more info, I'll post it.

Hi Mary,

I'm glad your sis made it thru the surgery OK. Sounds like a pretty intense situation for you and your family. I wish you the best. Although I am not a praying person, I do wish her a quick and easy recovery.

Also, good luck with school and the family. From your earlier posts it sounds like you are having a bit a trying time lately, so I wish you the best.

hang in there.
