A Good Weekend

Thanks for all the comments to my extra coolio readers :) They always make me smile, even if I only have a second for a quick check before heading out the door.

We had a pretty good weekend, didn't get nearly enough house work done, but I got alot of my worksheet that's due next Friday finished, and we spent mucho time outside. This was the first NICE weekend in quite awhile, so baseball was kind of our focus :)

Jake got to spend alot of time helping my dad in the yard today. He said "We didn't hardly do ANYTHING mom. We only dug a hole for a post, watered flowers, and put together a (something, I can't remember what they did). That's only 3 things mom, hardly anything." Sounded like a lot to me! My silly boy.

Clara is acting like she has what Jake had 2 weeks ago. Mild fever last night, but not horrible. Woke up today perfectly fine. This afternoon she had a mild fever again, and spent 2 hours laying on the couch, refusing to go to sleep, watching PBS kids Sprouts with my mom. I really hope she's not sick tomorrow, I can't call in sick my 2nd week!

I was hoping to find some new shoes for work this weekend, but that didn't happen. I did score at Target on Friday-easter stuff had just gone to 75% off, so I got a Teenage Mutant Nijia Turtle tin full of outside stuff, and a Mrs Sunny's Spider Patch tin full of school type stuff. They were only $5 each, and don't say easter or have rabbits anywhere on them. They'll be perfect for birthday gifts! Also got some plastic eggs for the church for next year, plus a 600 thread count king sized sheet for only $15. We only use the bottom sheet, so this was perfect.

Yesterday we went to Old Navy and spent way too much. Tom really needed jeans for work, and I got quite a bit for me all on clearance. Had to get stuff for the kiddos too, and over all we got a pretty good deal.

It seemed like all I did was spend money this weekend. Okay it was all on bills, and then the stuff at Target and ON, so not exciting. Felt good to be paying off some credit cards though. Even though it was loan money I was using (student loans), the intrest rate is so much lower than any of the cc's, it'll work out.

Well back to the hospital tomorrow. Hopefully this week will go well. I don't know if I talked about the other student there, but he's really starting to piss me off. I don't know if I can stand him for 11 months.........
