And not as super slow as I was ;) Cable modem is all fixed up. Turns out we have a bunch of shithead squirles who live outside like to chew on wires or fuck up the box up on the pole outside or something. The cableguy fixed that all up, and then the line was still 'hot' so he did something else to 'calm it down' and now it all works fine. And it was free to fix cuz it wasn't my fault. AND he's giving us a 2 week credit. So that is cool.
Going down to the school today to pay and register and get my financial aid all squared away, and this afternoon I'll FINALLY go to that damn daycare to check it out. My sister is babysitting, so hopefully she doesn't have too bad of a hangover...either way I'm sure the chillin's will just sit and watch TV anyways.
My mom hinted that my grandma would buy me a laptop. For some totally fucked up reason she'd rather buy something tangible for me, instead of help with daycare. Kind of like a congrats for getting into the program sort of thing. But I think my other grandma will atleast loan us the money (6k to be exact) to pay for daycare until the fin aid kicks in in April. She won't charge intrest and we won't have to start paying her back until I have a job.
I'm going to spend the next 2 weeks trying to come up with easy meals/cook ahead recipes/ect so dinners won't be a challenge. I'm also going to start packing a lunch for me AND Tom (cuz I'm nice ;)) so we can cut back on fastfood. I should say so Tom can cut back on fast food cuz he's the ass who doesn't come home 4 days a week for lunch cuz he's a dork...
Even though my internet is back, I best be getting a move on, so much crap to do today....
