I heart Vince

We went and saw the Wedding Crashers tonight. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. There's something refreshing about going to an R-rated movie that ISN'T rated R for violence, but for the use of the phrase "fucking shit" multiple times. The boob shots were nice too. We chose to see the Wedding Crashers over the 40-year old Virgin since we didn't want to wait in line. I'm glad we saw it, it was funnier than I expected. Except for the strange guy sitting next to Tom who kept raising his hands and laughing, or stomping his feet. I think he was trying to channel Will Ferrel's character or something. Or just to justify his being a 50+ yr old single man. Something.

I let Jake wear a tanktop in public today. He only owns 1. I had him dressed in a hawiian shirt and khaki shorts, but he insisted on jean shorts and his tank top that looks like a shirt with ripped off sleeves, and his grey hiker looking shoes. Let's just say this isn't the look we normally go for. He had a blast playing with girls today though. We went to my friends' daughter's first birthday party, and all of the other kids there were girls with the exception of 2 that left after about 45 mins (we were there for four freaking hours). They were having a blast playing house and watching soap box derby races.

All in all it was a pretty good day. Those are always nice.

I've been wanting to see Wedding Crashers, so its worth the trip?

I bet Jake looked cute. Much more manly than Spencer who is in his flowered cape again(sigh).

Great blog. How you manage a marriage with two small kids at 24 is amazing. I have a 5 yr old and an 8 yr old at age 38 and want to pull my hair out ;)

I loved "Wedding Crashers" too! My husband and I laughed sooo darn hard. I can't pick which is my favorite part - Vince's character's obsession with wedding cake, or the family dinner scene where someone was... well you know.

I'm really looking forward to seeing the "40 Year Old Virgin" too. I loved that guy in "Anchorman," so I'm hoping this will be at least as good.

what happened to my poor comment section?!?!? acck!!!

Princessa-I couldn't choose a favorite part of the movie. I laughed alot, and some of the parts I seemed to think hilarious, others weren't really laughing. I'll definatly be renting it if not buying it, when it comes out on DVD.

Angelic-I have a hard time believing my kiddos are already 2 and 4. Having them home fulltime this summer has really been a challenge, but I'm so glad I decided to do this, instead of getting a job. I can always pay off debts later, but J-dog and C-bear will only be my buddies for so long.

Emily-the movie was definatly worth it-even the ass raping price of a non-matinee showing. And there was no question of Tom's manly-ness, just his uh clothing himself ability...
