Gosh the best part of my day was my dad coming over to work on the garage, only to find out Tom was leaving to visit his grandma, so instead we went to this new chinese food buffet place. It was yummy. And my daddy paid. And since we only had Clara and Nathan (I watched him for a little bit today), plus my dad, me and Cara, things were great. Though all Nathan and Clara ate were dino-yummy chicken nuggets and cut up melon. The rest of the food was good though! Who would have thought putting strawberry glaze on bananas was such a good idea?!?!
I am going to see the Bad News Bears tonight with a couple of friends, so maybe that will win out over chinese food for lunch...
Last night Tom and I went and saw the 40 year old Virgin. It was hilarious. Again had that pesky habit of laughing when no one else was. "I own the We Sell Your Stuff on Ebay Store right across the street." "So what do you do exactly?" I swear Tom and I were the only ones who laughed at this...I guess everyone else only wanted to laugh at the fuck, shit, sex jokes, which were pretty fucking hilarious too. Well worth the discounted rate of $8.00 for seeing it at the not quite as new theater ($8.75 there). Steve Carrell is great. I hope this helps with his show The Office so it doesn't get cancelled. I think they only aired 4 or 5 episodes last season, but they are playing reruns now, so there is always hope.
Disturbing thought of the day--you wake up and realize you were just dreaming about sleeping with Dr House, aka Hugh Laurie, not his stuart little character. Wait, maybe that's not too disturbing. Doesn't everyone fantisize about gimpy, unshaven, sarcastic Dr's?? I heart the assholes. Like James Spader in Boston Legal. Can't wait for new episodes of that too.
