Happy New Year!

I hope everyone has a good start to 2007.

Things were really laid back around here. Last night we stayed over at our friends house in Portland, and stayed up WAY too late. Didn't fall asleep til 5am. We left at 11am, and everyone else was still asleep. If anyone was wondering, playing xbox 360 world cup soccer as a drinking game rocks. As does drinking darts. I couldn't believe the number of wild turkey shots Tom did.....

Today we mainly just hung out. I took down the tree, and Jake helped me finish sorting and putting away Christmas toys. Tom and I watched The Devil Wears Prada while Jake played his v-smile and Clara napped. For even more fun, Clara and I went to the store and spent too much money on groceries, but we have enough food for lunches and dinners all week.

Tom and I are trying the YOU diet of Waist Management. Some of the foods aren't very appitizing, but you can substitute lean cusine, or healthy choice meals occasionally. Our goal together is to eat less, and eat better. Also go to the gym 2-3 times a week. They have a daycare that the kids like to play in, so we'll give it a shot.

I'm back to work tomorrow, but it's as a student, so no getting paid. Damn. I like getting paid.
