"I sing 5 little punkins mommy"
"okay, sing it baby"
holding her left hand on top of her right hand
"3 little punkins sat on a gate"
rolling her hands
"5 little punkins (talking really fast) Day didn't have any fun!"
screeching laughter
Clara singing the 5 little pumpkins song-apparently her favorite song from daycare these days. I don't even know the words, because that's how she sings it EVERY time. It's so cute. My girly. She's getting so big. She'll sing along with songs now instead of just singing on her own terms. Music class is the highlight of her week. I'm so impressed with her being able to clap/shake/dance in time. And she is doing really well with tonal patterns as long as Chris(the teacher) has her sing quack quack quack instead of ba ba ba. And she's awesome with the spoken rhythm patterns as well. My little musically inclined babydoll :)
Jake just spent an hour earlier this evening building 'geo trax city' on his bed out of his geotrax and little people sets. He has a school, store, multiple construction sites, pet store, and a few hosues thrown in. It takes up almost his entire double bed. Needless to say he's sleeping in our bed tonight. I promised him that I would get his room all organized tomorrow and find the rest of the train track pieces so he could build a huge set up on the floor. Right now you can barely see the carpet in their room.
That's my goal for tomorrow. Well that and to spend atleast 2 hour studying for my total of 4 quizzes and 3 midterms next week. Damn. I hadn't actually looked at the numbers yet. Oh and I also want to cook dinner more so than making simple nachos or micro meals ;)

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate.
The first one said, "Oh my, it's getting late.
The second one said, "There are witches in the air."
The third one said, "But we don't care."
The fourth one said, "Let's run! Let's run!"
The fifth one said, "We're gonna have some fun!"
Then WOOOO went the wind! And OUT went the lights!
And five little pumpkins rolled out of sight.
(Grace has been singing that song for two years now. Funny how you don't even realize you know it until you start singing it when they aren't around. LOL!)
LOL you ROCK! Thank you. Now I can sing it to Clara. Before I just kind hummed along.
I sing kids songs to my self all the time. Not by choice, but beacuse I can't get them out of my head....
