Why I don't watch news

Or why I haven't at all this week. I've been saying it's so Jake and Clara don't watch it, but really it's because I just sit and cry. At it all. All the personal stories, all the ads asking for money, the pictures of kids, the stories of old people abandoned, bodies tied to stop signs. Everything. So I'm just going to turn the TV off and crawl in to bed to cry. I wish my crying could actually help. I know it doesn't so dont' think badly of me for even talking about this all.
