Two Months

I have 2 months and 2 days until I am DONE with my clinicals. That means I have 2 months to study my ass off so I can pass the ARRT exam. I also have 2 months to find a job. Thank God for websites like this and this. They help me with both of those tasks.

Right now I'm only scoring an average of 70% on the tests I'm taking. You have to have 75% to pass this baby. So I need to work a little harder. Our teacher set it up so we have to take atleast 1 50 question test a day on that rad review website. We can take extras if we want. Since I test quite quickly, I can whip out a 50 Q test in about 12 minutes. So I'm trying to do 2-3 a day just for practice. The site only has 1400 unique questions, so I'm sure I'll plow through those quickly, but you can choose what subjects you want, test length, and if you are doing all new, all missed, or a random assortment of questions.

I'm not scheduled at all this month or next month to work for pay, but that's okay. I need to spend more time studying right now because I'll be getting my last fin aid check in 2 weeks, and then we'll do our taxes in the beginning of February. So even though money is tight, we just gotta make it through the next couple of weeks. I have to go to the hospital orientation AGAIN tomorrow. I did it back in June as a student, but I only had to go to about 1/3 of it. So now I have to go to the whole first day, and part of the second day because they restructured it. But I'm getting paid, so I don't care. I just have to figure out how to make up the hours I'm missing from being a student...

By March 9th I will have worked 1600 hours. At that point I can apply to take my exam. I'm hoping to study my ass off for a week or so to get get preped. That is just funny really because I don't study. So, um yeah. Maybe I'll take a solo trip to DC for a long weekend. That would kick ass.

So there ya go. A big long post, all about school. Aren't you all so thrilled to have read it?!?!

Thanks for the RT school related post. The links look good; I'll take a look at them. Sounds like you'll do fine in the registry. You're doing the work by using that site and the questions your instructor gives.
