TGIF (almost)

First off, thanks for all the congrats for Tom! I'm really happy for him. I think it was a good attitude/self esteem booster for him. Turns out it was even more than I thought. He was getting a flat salary of $2000/month plus commission. I thought they were boosting his salary to equal about $2600 with commission. Turns out it's $2600 salary plus commission. YAY! I know he doesn't earn a ton, but that's why I'm going to school, remember? :)

We talked more about getting another car and decided to just hold off til the subaru dies. It's summer time, he can ride his bike to work if he has to. No need to buy a car right now. I'm glad he agreed with me :)

The thing that makes me feel the best about all of this is being able to get shit paid, without having to borrow money from my parents. Yeah things will still be tight, but we won't be relying on them to loan us money between my loan checks from school.

So things were just blah at work this week. I didn't make any major mistakes, but did make quite a few stupid ones. I hate feeling like I'm getting in the way, or throwing people outta their groove, and that's how I felt the majority of the time.

Next week I work my first week of 1pm-930pm shifts. Of course it's also the week that one of Tom's co-workers has the week off, so he has to close MWF. I'm praying my parents will be able to pick the kiddos up, otherwise I'm going to ahve to get creative with daycare pickups.

On a side note I'm watching CSI right now and it's really gross. I didn't need to see Nick picking up a green decapitated head from a creek. Yuck.
