Thursday Thirteen

13 things I've learned since 9/26/05 (the day I started the imaging program):
  1. X-rays are a form of radiation (D'OH)
  2. Imaging people have to deal with bodily fluids (damnit-my main reason for not becoming a nurse.....)
  3. Most of the people that get x-rays are in pain. And it might be bloody.
  4. That I enjoy physics.
  5. That adult men and women can be extremely immature.
  6. Just because you are wanting to be a health care professional doesn't mean you are above cheating. On tests. That are important.
  7. I still try to kiss up to people I think dislike me.
  8. Hurting people freaks me out.
  9. How to perform veni-puncture (IV placement is next week), and how to place a foley catheture (OUCH)
  10. Even with adults, teachers have favorites. Even moreso I'd say.
  11. That I miss seeing my kids as much as when I was home. I felt so guilty yesterday that my dad took Jacob to the doctor, not me.
  12. I love sheep. Atleast as I drive by them everyday to and from school. So cute. I was so excited to see all the babies start appearing a couple of months ago.
  13. There are more shades of green in the Willamette Valley, then I could count.
And I'm pooped. Nighty night.
